The Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Educational Foundation provides merit-based scholarship awards to undergraduate students attending accredited HBCUs and other colleges and universities. As the first intercollegiate Greek-letter fraternity established for African Americans, Alpha Phi Alpha has a long tradition of scholarship and service. The Foundation’s awards are based on academic achievement, leadership in the community, and demonstrated service to others in alignment with the Fraternity’s cardinal principles.
