North Carolina A&T Graduate STEM Research Fellowship
The NC A&T Graduate STEM Research Fellowship is awarded to graduate students conducting original research in STEM disciplines at North Carolina A&T State University. Fellows receive funding to support their thesis or dissertation research and are expected to present findings at the University’s Annual Research Symposium. This fellowship strengthens A&T’s nationally recognized pipeline of research-active Black scholars and doctoral candidates.

Administered through the Philadelphia Alumni Chapter’s Guide Right Foundation, the Kappa Alpha Psi Undergraduate Achievement Award is presented to HBCU undergraduates who exemplify achievement, service, and leadership in their academic and extracurricular endeavors. Applicants are evaluated on academic record, community involvement, and a written statement describing their career aspirations and commitment to giving back.

The Omega Psi Phi STEM Achievement Scholarship is offered to undergraduate and graduate students at any accredited HBCU pursuing degrees in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics. AKA Educational Advancement Foundation Scholarship
Administered by the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Educational Advancement Foundation (EAF), this merit scholarship is awarded to undergraduate students attending an accredited HBCU who have demonstrated academic excellence, community service, and leadership. Recipients embody AKA’s core principle of service above self and represent the Sorority’s longstanding investment in the advancement of women and underrepresented scholars in higher education.

National HBCU Need-Based Achievement Fund
Open to undergraduate students at any accredited HBCU, the National HBCU Need-Based Achievement Fund supports high-achieving scholars who face significant financial hardship. Priority is given to students from low-income households with a completed FAFSA and a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. The fund is administered nationally by the HBCU Scholarship Alliance and accepts applications from students at all 107 HBCUs.

West Virginia State Opportunity Scholarship
The West Virginia State Opportunity Scholarship is awarded to undergraduate students from low-income households who demonstrate financial need and the determination to succeed despite economic barriers. FAFSA completion is required. This award is designed to reduce financial obstacles for Yellow Jackets who might otherwise be unable to afford a college education, reinforcing WV State’s commitment to access and opportunity.

The Bennett Women in Leadership Scholarship honors the proud tradition of Bennett College in developing bold, visionary women who lead with purpose. Candidates must submit a leadership portfolio along with two letters of recommendation from faculty or community supervisors.
