The Verizon HBCUs Forward Scholarship supports Black students pursuing degrees in technology, engineering, data analytics, and business at HBCUs across the United States. As part of Verizon’s broader commitment to closing the digital divide and building an equitable technology ecosystem, the program provides financial awards, mentoring, and access to Verizon’s extensive professional network. Preference is given to students who can demonstrate financial need and an interest in telecommunications or technology careers.
